Today is not a good day for you to attempt to defend “good police officers” to me.
If there is any question in your mind that George Floyd–like so many other unarmed Black men–was MURDERED by a racist cop, then we have nothing left to say to each other.
George Floyd did not deserve to die. I don’t care what he was accused of doing. I don’t care what he was innocent or guilty of. He did not deserve a knee pressed to his throat. He did not deserve to die in the street, like an animal, at the hands of a smiling thug with white skin and a badge.

Breonna Taylor did not deserve to die. She was in her home, asleep in her bed, when thugs with white skin and badges shot her eight times.
I am angry. I am furious. I am heartbroken. I am also focused on justice for my Brothers and Sisters whose only “crime” was being Black in America.
This has to stop. Racist thugs will be brought to justice. If not by America, then by God Himself.
In the meantime, don’t talk to me today. It will not go well.
Your post title is more gracious than people deserve. I see nothing well meaning or friend-like in anyone who comes out with “a few bad apples” today.
